{"id":7611,"date":"2022-04-28T16:46:20","date_gmt":"2022-04-28T15:46:20","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.snapsurveys.com\/support-snapxmp\/?post_type=epkb_post_type_1&#038;p=7611"},"modified":"2024-07-24T14:33:23","modified_gmt":"2024-07-24T13:33:23","slug":"managing-response-data","status":"publish","type":"epkb_post_type_1","link":"https:\/\/www.snapsurveys.com\/support-snapxmp\/snapxmp\/managing-response-data\/","title":{"rendered":"Managing response data"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>   Once you have published your survey and started collecting responses, you can manage them from the Responses menu in the Collect section. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In this section, you can <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.snapsurveys.com\/support-snapxmp\/snapxmp\/exporting-the-response-data\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">export all the response data or a filtered subset of the response data<\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>delete all response data<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>manage partial responses<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>use Find and erase to erase specific response data as part of the GDPR data regulations<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>\n  You can find the Responses menu by following these instructions:\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>   In Snap XMP Online, click on the survey in Your Work to select it. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\n  In the Summary tab, click the Collect link.\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\n  Select the Responses menu.\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Delete all response data<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>   When you select the <strong>Responses<\/strong> menu, the default page shows Responses in the list of options. In this page you have the option to delete all response data. <\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"647\" height=\"342\" src=\"https:\/\/www.snapsurveys.com\/support-snapxmp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/DeleteAll.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-7622\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.snapsurveys.com\/support-snapxmp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/DeleteAll.png 647w, https:\/\/www.snapsurveys.com\/support-snapxmp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/DeleteAll-300x159.png 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 647px) 100vw, 647px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\" start=\"2\">\n<li>   Click <strong>Delete all data<\/strong>. A warning message displays asking you to confirm that you want to delete all the survey response data. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>   Click <strong>OK<\/strong> to confirm that you want to delete all the response data. This action is permanent, and you cannot retrieve the response data later. <\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">View and submit partial responses<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>\n  You can include partial responses in your survey\u2019s response data by submitting all partial responses. This option will only be available if you have the correct permissions to view and submit the partial responses.\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>   You will need to consider at what stage of the interview process to submit the partials. If you wait until interviewing closes to submit all the partial responses, this gives the opportunity for a respondent to return to complete the survey. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>   In the&nbsp;<strong>Responses<\/strong> menu, click the&nbsp;<strong>Partials<\/strong>&nbsp;option and this will display all the partial responses that are available. <\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"253\" height=\"244\" src=\"https:\/\/www.snapsurveys.com\/support-snapxmp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/responses-side-menu-with-partials-highlighted.png\" alt=\"Responses side menu with Partials highlighted\" class=\"wp-image-7612\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\" start=\"2\">\n<li>   The&nbsp;<strong>Partial responses&nbsp;<\/strong>overview shows any partial responses. You can use the navigation icons to move through the responses and view the data.
