The shared accounts for the interviewers are created using Snap XMP Online. When the interviewers log into the&nbsp;Interviewer&nbsp;app, they see the surveys that are assigned to them.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>   Before you start check that <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>\n    you have created a survey with a mobile edition\n  <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>     the interviewers&#8217;<strong> <\/strong>Snap XMP Online accounts are available<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>     you have installed the&nbsp;latest version of the <strong>Interviewer<\/strong>&nbsp;app    <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>   The Interviewer app is available for devices that run Apple iOS, Google Android or Windows. Further information on how to install the app is available at: <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Apple iOS devices<\/strong> at <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.snapsurveys.com\/support-snapxmp\/snapxmp\/installing-on-devices-running-apple-ios\/\" target=\"_blank\">Installing on devices running Apple iOS<\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Google Android devices<\/strong> at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.snapsurveys.com\/support-snapxmp\/snapxmp\/installing-on-devices-running-google-android\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Installing on devices running Google Android<\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Microsoft Windows devices at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.snapsurveys.com\/support-snapxmp\/snapxmp\/installing-on-devices-running-windows\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Installing on devices running Windows<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>   Snap XMP Online allows you to create shared accounts so you can share selected surveys with clients, colleagues or interviewers. There are four permissions available for a shared account in Snap XMP Online: <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Researcher <\/strong>gives full access to all sections of the survey:&nbsp;Build,&nbsp;Collect&nbsp;and&nbsp;Analyze\n  <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Interviewer <\/strong>allows access to use the survey as an interviewer with&nbsp;the Interviewer app, but does not give access to the&nbsp;Build,&nbsp;Collect&nbsp;or&nbsp;Analyze&nbsp;sections   <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Analyst&nbsp;<\/strong>gives permission to share survey results by allowing access to the&nbsp;Analyze&nbsp;section of a survey\n  <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Analyst plus data download&nbsp;<\/strong>gives the same permission as&nbsp;Analyst&nbsp;with the addition of access to download the survey response data\n  <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>\n  This tutorial explains how to share your surveys with&nbsp;interviewers.\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><a id=\"post-6571-o32351\"><\/a><a id=\"post-6571-o32357\"><\/a><a id=\"post-6571-o32354\"><\/a>Step 1: Create a questionnaire with a mobile edition<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>   In Snap XMP Desktop, open the Survey Overview window showing the online surveys. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>   Click    <img decoding=\"async\" width=\"25\" height=\"26\" class=\"wp-image-6572\" src=\"https:\/\/www.snapsurveys.com\/support-snapxmp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/10\/newicon-png.png\" alt=\"NewIcon.png\">    to create a new survey. This opens a list of survey templates. Select the required template as the starting point for your survey. This example uses the Blank Template provided with Snap XMP Desktop, which contains editions for PC\/Laptop, Tablet, Phone and Paper. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\n  Click <strong>Next<\/strong>. This opens the New Online Survey dialog for online surveys. \n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\n  Enter the name, title and folder location then click <strong>OK<\/strong>. This opens the Questionnaire window in design mode.\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>   Create the questionnaire design for the phone or tablet edition required. This depends on the device you want to use. <\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>   You can also add a phone or tablet edition to an existing survey, depending on the device you want to use.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>\n  Open the survey in the Questionnaire window.\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\n  Click <strong>Editions and Style Templates <\/strong>\n  <img decoding=\"async\" width=\"26\" height=\"26\" src=\"https:\/\/www.snapsurveys.com\/support-snapxmp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/10\/editionsicon-png.png\" class=\"wp-image-6573\" alt=\"EditionsIcon.png\">\n   button then click the <strong>New<\/strong> button. This opens the New Survey Edition dialog.\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\n  In <strong>Edition Name<\/strong>, enter the name that describes this edition.\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\n  In <strong>Publication Medium<\/strong>, select <strong>Snap Online<\/strong>.\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>   Select <strong>Load Style<\/strong> then select the mobile style, in this case Default Tablet.qsf. <\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"476\" height=\"373\" src=\"https:\/\/www.snapsurveys.com\/support-snapxmp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/05\/KioskEdition.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-11854\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.snapsurveys.com\/support-snapxmp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/05\/KioskEdition.png 476w, https:\/\/www.snapsurveys.com\/support-snapxmp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/05\/KioskEdition-300x235.png 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 476px) 100vw, 476px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\" start=\"6\">\n<li>\n  Click <strong>OK<\/strong> to save the new edition then click <strong>OK<\/strong> in the Editions and Style Templates dialog.\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\n  Click <strong>Save<\/strong> to save the questionnaire with the new edition\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>\n  When you have completed the questionnaire, publish the survey.\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Step 2: Set up for mobile interviewing<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>   Mobile interviewing is set up in&nbsp;<strong>Snap XMP Online<\/strong> and can be turned on or off at any time. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>   Log in to&nbsp;<strong>Snap XMP Online<\/strong>&nbsp;and select the survey you want to update. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>   Navigate to the&nbsp;<strong>Collect&nbsp;<\/strong>menu. The&nbsp;<strong>Settings<\/strong>&nbsp;side menu shows by default. Select this option to allow mobile interviewing and clear to turn off mobile interviewing. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\n  Click&nbsp;<strong>Save&nbsp;<\/strong>to save the changes.\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Step 3: Share with the interviewers&#8217; accounts<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>   Sharing surveys with interviewers is available in Snap XMP Online. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>   Log in to Snap XMP Online and&nbsp;the first page shown is <strong>Your work<\/strong>. If you are already logged into Snap XMP Online, click <strong>Home <\/strong>to return to&nbsp;<strong>Your work<\/strong>. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\n  Select the item that you wish to share with the interviewer. This can be a survey, folder, or all your work. If you share a folder all of the surveys and sub-folders are shared. If you share&nbsp;<strong>Your work&nbsp;<\/strong>then everything in&nbsp;<strong>Your work<\/strong>&nbsp;is shared.\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\n  Select the&nbsp;<strong>Shares<\/strong>&nbsp;tab in order to share the item.\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"533\" height=\"186\" src=\"https:\/\/www.snapsurveys.com\/support-snapxmp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/10\/adduser-png.png\" alt=\"AddUser.PNG\" class=\"wp-image-6577\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.snapsurveys.com\/support-snapxmp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/10\/adduser-png.png 533w, https:\/\/www.snapsurveys.com\/support-snapxmp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/10\/adduser-png-300x105.png 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 533px) 100vw, 533px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\" start=\"5\">\n<li>   Click the&nbsp;<strong>Add user<\/strong>&nbsp;button to add another&nbsp;<strong>Snap XMP Online<\/strong>&nbsp;account user to share this item of work with. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>   In the&nbsp;<strong>Add user<\/strong>&nbsp;dialog enter the interviewer\u2019s email account used for their&nbsp;<strong>Snap XMP Online<\/strong>&nbsp;account. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\n  Next set the&nbsp;<strong>Permissions&nbsp;<\/strong>to&nbsp;<strong>Interviewer<\/strong>.\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\n  Set&nbsp;<strong>Enabled&nbsp;<\/strong>to Yes for the interviewer to have access to the shared item.\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\n  Set&nbsp;<strong>Manage shares&nbsp;<\/strong>to No if you do not want the interviewer to share the work with other account holders.\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"504\" height=\"476\" src=\"https:\/\/www.snapsurveys.com\/support-snapxmp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/10\/add-a-user-as-an-interviewer.png\" alt=\"Add a user as an interviewer\" class=\"wp-image-6578\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.snapsurveys.com\/support-snapxmp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/10\/add-a-user-as-an-interviewer.png 504w, https:\/\/www.snapsurveys.com\/support-snapxmp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/10\/add-a-user-as-an-interviewer-300x283.png 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 504px) 100vw, 504px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\" start=\"10\">\n<li>\n  When you have entered the user details, click&nbsp;<strong>Save<\/strong>&nbsp;to add the user. The interviewer has access to the shared item.\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><a id=\"post-6571-o32355\"><\/a>Step 4: Test the survey<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>   Prior to interviewing, the Interviewer app must be installed on the devices used for mobile interviewing. Once the app is installed, you are ready to start interviewing. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>   Open the<strong> Interviewer<\/strong> app on the device used for mobile interviewing. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>   Enter the <strong>Snap XMP Online<\/strong> email address and Password in the <strong>Login<\/strong> page. Click <strong>Log in<\/strong>. If you have previously logged in and selected <strong>Keep me logged in<\/strong> then you do not need to complete this step. <\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"412\" height=\"348\" src=\"https:\/\/www.snapsurveys.com\/support-snapxmp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/10\/login-page-png.png\" alt=\"Login page.png\" class=\"wp-image-6579\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.snapsurveys.com\/support-snapxmp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/10\/login-page-png.png 412w, https:\/\/www.snapsurveys.com\/support-snapxmp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/10\/login-page-png-300x253.png 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 412px) 100vw, 412px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\" start=\"3\">\n<li>The <strong>Interviewer <\/strong>app connects to <strong>Snap XMP Online<\/strong> and downloads your surveys. Alternatively, you can tap <strong>Sync<\/strong> to synchronize the surveys and participant information manually. This shows a list of available surveys. If the survey is not available, check that the internet connection is available and that the survey is started and shared with the interviewer on Snap XMP Online. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>   Tap the survey that you are using for mobile interviewing. Go through the questions with the participant and enter their responses, tapping <strong>Next<\/strong> to move to the next page of questions.  <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>   Click <strong>Submit<\/strong> to complete the survey. You will see a confirmation message when the response has been successfully submitted. Click <strong>OK<\/strong>. The app displays the survey\u2019s login page, ready for the next interview. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>   On the <strong>Surveys<\/strong> page click <strong>Sync<\/strong> to update the responses to the survey immediately.
