  1. Open your survey in Snap XMP Online<\/strong> and from the survey\u2019s Summary<\/strong> navigate to the Collect<\/strong> section.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Select the Participants<\/strong> side menu to view the participants and invitations. This shows the Participants Overview<\/strong>, by default.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

            Option<\/strong><\/td>Description<\/strong><\/td><\/tr>
            Emails \u2018From\u2019 name<\/td>The name that will be displayed in the \u2018From\u2019 field when the participant receives the email.<\/td><\/tr>
            Forward replies to<\/td>The email address that any replies will be sent to.<\/td><\/tr>
            Forward replies when<\/td>There are two options in the drop down list: Always forward replies (including auto-replies)<\/strong> Only when the reply was sent by a person <\/strong>that excludes auto-replies such as out of the office emails.<\/td><\/tr>
            Automatically add opt-out<\/td>This automatically inserts an opt-out link at the end of an email invitation or reminder, if there is not one already included in the email content.<\/td><\/tr>
            Stop invitations to a participant when:<\/td>This contains three situations where you would want to stop sending invitations.
            The invitation cannot be delivered<\/strong> stops the invitations when an email is returned as undeliverable.
            An out-of-office notice is received<\/strong> stops the invitations when an automated email response is received that contains an out of office response.
            Any other auto-reply is received<\/strong> stops the invitations when any other automated email response is received.<\/td><\/tr><\/tbody><\/table><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
              \n
            1. Click Save<\/strong> to update the invitation settings.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

              Viewing your invitations<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

              The invitations are the templates for the emails that are distributed to the survey participants. You can view and edit invitations and reminders in the Invitations<\/strong> section of the Participants<\/strong> side menu.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

              1. Open your questionnaire and navigate to the Collect<\/strong> section.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
              2. Select the Participants<\/strong> side menu. This shows the Participants Overview<\/strong>, by default.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
              3. Click on the Invitations<\/strong> menu item to view the invitations.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

                  Add invitations<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

                  You can create additional invitations and reminders in Snap XMP Online.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

                    \n
                  1. Navigate to the Invitations<\/strong> menu item in the Participants<\/strong> side menu to view the invitations.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
                  2. Click the Add Invitation<\/strong> button will display an invitation email editor where you can compose the email you wish to send to your participants.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
                  3. This displays the Add invitation<\/strong> dialog where you can create your invitation or reminder.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

                      \n
                    1. In Title<\/strong>, enter a title that describes the invitation. The Title identifies the invitation. <\/li>\n\n\n\n
                    2. In Subject<\/strong>, enter the subject of the email invitation.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
                    3. In Days to wait before sending<\/strong>, enter the number of days that you wish to wait before sending the invitation to the participant. If the invitation is a second or subsequent invitation, the wait time is from the date that you sent the previous invitation.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
                    4. Enter the main text of the email. This must include a link to the survey, found in the Insert tag<\/strong> drop-down. You can find more detailed help in Creating invitations using the email editor.<\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n
                    5. When you are happy with your new invitation click Save<\/strong> to save your changes.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

                      Test an invitation<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

                      Before you send the email invitations to your participants you can check the format of the invitations by using the test functionality.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

                      1. Click the Test<\/strong> button.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

                        1. This displays the Test invitation<\/strong> dialog. You will need to enter an email address that you have access to so that you can view the email and check that the format and seeding are correct.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

                            \n
                          1. Click Send test email<\/strong>. This will send a test email invitation to the test email address.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
                          2. When the email arrives check that the format is as you expected. The email will substitute one of the participants in your list to test the invitation seeding is correct.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

                            Edit an invitation<\/h2>\n\n\n\n
                              \n
                            1. Click the Edit<\/strong> button to make changes to your invitations and reminders.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

                              1. This displays the Edit invitation<\/strong> dialog where you can change the invitation or reminder.<\/li>\n\n\n\n

                                  Delete an invitation<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

                                  1. Click the Delete<\/strong> button to remove the invitation.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

                                    1. This displays the Delete invitation<\/strong> confirmation.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
                                    2. Click Delete<\/strong> to continue with the deletion or Cancel<\/strong> to cancel the operation.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

                                      Change the send order of the invitations<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

                                      The invitations for the current survey are sent out in the order they are listed on the Invitations<\/strong> page. You can change the send order.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

                                      1. Make sure the invitations are not sending before you start to reorder. Click Pause Invitations<\/strong>\u00a0to stop the invitations.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
                                      2. Click the \"ReorderDown.png\" button to move the invitation down the list of invitations.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
                                      3. Click the \"ReorderUp.PNG\" button to move the invitation up the list of invitations.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
                                      4. When the order is as desired then you can start sending invitations.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n
