Edit a survey template<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

\n Once a survey template is created it can be edited using the Questionnaire window.\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    \n
  1. Click Survey Overview<\/strong> \"SurveyOverviewIcon.png\" on the Snap XMP Desktop toolbar. This opens the Survey Overview window. <\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. \n Select Online surveys<\/strong> \n \"5.OnlineSurveysIcon.png\"\n or Offline surveys<\/strong> \n \"6.OfflineSurveysIcon.png\"\n depending on the location of the survey template.\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. \n Select the survey template.\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  4. \n Right click and select Edit Template<\/strong> from the menu. This opens the Template details dialog.\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  5. \n Click OK. This opens the questionnaire window to edit the survey template in the same way as a questionnaire. Note that the Data Entry window is not available for a survey template.\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  6. \n Click Save<\/strong> to save any changes to the survey template.\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    Delete a survey template<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

    \n A survey template can be deleted in the Survey Overview window. Surveys created using the survey template do not require it after the survey is saved.\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    1. Click Survey Overview<\/strong> \"SurveyOverviewIcon.png\" on the Snap XMP Desktop toolbar. This opens the Survey Overview window. <\/li>\n\n\n\n
    2. \n Select Online surveys<\/strong> \n \"5.OnlineSurveysIcon.png\"\n or Offline surveys<\/strong> \n \"6.OfflineSurveysIcon.png\"\n depending on the location of the survey template.\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    3. \n Select the survey template.\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    4. \n Right click and select Delete Template<\/strong> from the menu. This opens the Delete template dialog.\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

      1. \n Select the options, Template file and\/or Temporary back up files, to delete.\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      2. \n Click Delete<\/strong> then click Yes to confirm that you want to delete the template.\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

        Rename an online survey template<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

        \n This is only available for online survey templates.\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n

        1. Click Survey Overview<\/strong> \"SurveyOverviewIcon.png\" on the Snap XMP Desktop toolbar. This opens the Survey Overview window. <\/li>\n\n\n\n
        2. \n Select Online surveys<\/strong> \n \"5.OnlineSurveysIcon.png\"\n and select the survey template.\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        3. \n Right click and select Rename Template<\/strong> from the menu. This changes the name to an editable field in the Survey Overview window.\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

          1. \n Enter the new name and press Enter<\/strong> to save. \n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

            Synchronising an online survey template<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

            Synchronisation is a method of transferring information between Snap XMP Desktop and Snap XMP Online. This keeps the survey templates and surveys as well as other data up-to-date in both Snap XMP Desktop and Snap XMP Online. This is only available for online survey templates. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

            1. Click Survey Overview<\/strong> \"SurveyOverviewIcon.png\" on the Snap XMP Desktop toolbar. This opens the Survey Overview window. <\/li>\n\n\n\n
            2. \n Select Online surveys<\/strong> \n \"5.OnlineSurveysIcon.png\"\n and select the survey template.\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n
            3. The Download<\/strong> \"11.DownloadSurveyIcon.png\" and Upload<\/strong> \"12.UploadSurveyIcon.png\" menu options are used to synchronize the template with Snap XMP Online. They are located on the Survey Overview toolbar. <\/li>\n\n\n\n
            4. Select Download<\/strong> \"11.DownloadSurveyIcon.png\" from the toolbar to download the latest version of the survey template from Snap XMP Online. <\/li>\n\n\n\n
            5. Select Upload \"12.UploadSurveyIcon.png\"<\/strong> from the toolbar to upload the latest version of the template to Snap XMP Online. <\/li>\n\n\n\n
