When a survey template is created, it is based on an existing survey. Once created, you can edit the survey template in the Questionnaire window with all the same features available. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Click Survey Overview<\/strong> \"SurveyOverviewIcon.png\" on the Snap XMP Desktop toolbar. This opens the Survey Overview window. <\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Select Online surveys<\/strong> \"5.OnlineSurveysIcon.png\" or Offline surveys<\/strong> \"6.OfflineSurveysIcon.png\" depending on the survey you want as the base for the survey template. <\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. \n Select the questionnaire that will be the base for the survey template.\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  4. \n Select the File|Save as Template<\/strong> menu. This opens the New Online Template dialog for an Online survey or the New Template dialog for an Offline survey.\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    1. \n In the Name field, enter the name used to identify the survey.\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    2. \n In the Title field enter the title.\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    3. \n For an Online survey you have the option to select the folder as the location for the survey template.\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    4. \n For an Offline survey you have the option to enter any comments.\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    5. \n Click OK to save the survey template. This is displayed in the Survey Overview window. Survey templates are displayed with the survey template icon.\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

      Creating a survey directly from a survey template<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

      You can create a survey using a survey template in the Survey Overview window. The survey uses the selected template. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

      1. Click Survey Overview<\/strong> \"SurveyOverviewIcon.png\" on the Snap XMP Desktop toolbar. This opens the Survey Overview window. <\/li>\n\n\n\n
      2. Select Online surveys<\/strong> \"5.OnlineSurveysIcon.png\" or Offline surveys<\/strong> \"6.OfflineSurveysIcon.png\" depending on the survey required. <\/li>\n\n\n\n
      3. Select the survey template then right click and select Create survey<\/strong>. This opens the New Online Survey dialog for an Online survey or the New Survey dialog for an Offline survey. <\/li>\n\n\n\n
      4. In the Name field, enter the name used to identify the survey. <\/li>\n\n\n\n
      5. In the Title field enter the title. <\/li>\n\n\n\n
