This worksheet describes how to delete surveys in Snap XMP Desktop and Snap XMP Online. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Deleting a survey in Snap XMP Online<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>   After logging into Snap XMP Online, the first page shown is <strong>Your work.<\/strong> <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>   Select the survey you want to delete. This is shown on the <strong>Summary<\/strong> tab for the survey.\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Not started<\/strong> where the survey has not yet been published \n    <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Interviewing in progress\/Started<\/strong> where the survey has been published and interviewing has started\n    <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Paused<\/strong> where the survey has been published, interviewing has started and is now paused \n    <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Closed\/Stopped <\/strong>where the survey has been published, interviewing has taken place and is now closed<strong>.<\/strong>     <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Check the state of the survey on the <strong>Summary<\/strong> tab. If the status is <strong>Interviewing in progress<\/strong> or <strong>Paused<\/strong> then you should stop interviewing prior to deleting the survey.\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>\n      Click the Collect link in the <strong>Summary<\/strong> tab. \n    <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\n      In the Collect tab, click <strong>Stop Interviewing<\/strong>.\n    <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\n      Click OK to confirm that you want to stop interviewing\n    <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>   Click <strong>Summary<\/strong> in the Snap XMP Online toolbar to return to <strong>Your work <\/strong>and display the summary page of the selected survey. <\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"444\" height=\"47\" src=\"https:\/\/www.snapsurveys.com\/support-snapxmp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/03\/summarybar-png.png\" alt=\"Summary tab for the selected survey\" class=\"wp-image-4326\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.snapsurveys.com\/support-snapxmp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/03\/summarybar-png.png 444w, https:\/\/www.snapsurveys.com\/support-snapxmp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/03\/summarybar-png-300x32.png 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 444px) 100vw, 444px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\" start=\"6\">\n<li>   Click on the survey action menu and select <strong>Delete survey<\/strong>. Deleting an online surveys in Snap XMP Online also deletes the survey in Snap XMP Desktop due to the synchronization between the products in Snap XMP.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>On the Survey Overview toolbar, click <strong>Delete survey<\/strong><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"26\" height=\"26\" src=\"https:\/\/www.snapsurveys.com\/support-snapxmp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/03\/deletesurveyicon-png-1.png\" class=\"wp-image-4330\" alt=\"DeleteSurveyIcon.png\">    to delete the survey and\/or the data.
