For example, a participant may be based in more than one office and they need to complete the questionnaire once for each office. This can be hidden or read only so the participant does not change it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\" type=\"1\">\n<li>Open your survey in <strong>Snap XMP Online<\/strong> and from the survey\u2019s <strong>Summary<\/strong> navigate to the <strong>Collect<\/strong> section.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Select the <strong>Participants<\/strong> side menu to view the participants and invitations. The Participants <strong>Overview<\/strong> is selected by default.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click on the <strong>Participant list<\/strong> menu item to view the participants.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click on <strong>Upload Participants<\/strong> to open the <strong>Upload Participants Wizard<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>On the first page, click <strong>Select file<\/strong> to add the file with the participants\u2019 data. The accepted formats are CSV and XLSX. Click <strong>Next<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>In the survey options, select <strong>Allow Snap Online to track your respondents for questionnaire seeding<\/strong> then select <strong>Seed data into questionnaire<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Select <strong>Group questionnaire<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>In <strong>Subject field<\/strong>, select the spreadsheet column that contains the subject used to group the questionnaire.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"605\" height=\"279\" src=\"https:\/\/www.snapsurveys.com\/support-snapxmp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/04\/image063.png\" alt=\"Upload participants wizard - group questionnaire options\" class=\"wp-image-4791\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.snapsurveys.com\/support-snapxmp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/04\/image063.png 605w, https:\/\/www.snapsurveys.com\/support-snapxmp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/04\/image063-300x138.png 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 605px) 100vw, 605px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\" start=\"9\">\n<li>After this progress through the wizard in the same way as a standard questionnaire.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Participants details for a group questionnaire<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>After you have uploaded your participants, they are available in the Participant list.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\" type=\"1\">\n<li>Open your survey in <strong>Snap XMP Online<\/strong> and from the survey\u2019s <strong>Summary<\/strong> navigate to the <strong>Collect<\/strong> section.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Select the <strong>Participants<\/strong> side menu to view the participants and invitations. The Participants <strong>Overview<\/strong> is selected by default.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click on the <strong>Participant list<\/strong> menu item to view the participants.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The <strong>Participant list<\/strong> is displayed in the overview area.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click the <img decoding=\"async\" width=\"24\" height=\"20\" class=\"wp-image-4792\" style=\"width: 24px;\" src=\"https:\/\/www.snapsurveys.com\/support-snapxmp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/06\/20.DetailsArrowIcon.png\" alt=\"\">&nbsp;button at the left hand side of a participant row to expand the information held for the selected participant. The details are split into three sections in the same way as standard questionnaires. The <strong>Questionnaire seeding<\/strong> updates when the subject changes.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Editing a subject<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\" type=\"1\">\n<li>In the <strong>Participants list<\/strong>, expand the participant to view the details.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click on the arrows to move to the subject you want to edit.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click <strong>Edit subject<\/strong> and the <strong>Edit Subject<\/strong> dialog is displayed.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"502\" height=\"341\" src=\"https:\/\/www.snapsurveys.com\/support-snapxmp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/04\/image067.png\" alt=\"Edit a subject for a participant\" class=\"wp-image-4794\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.snapsurveys.com\/support-snapxmp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/04\/image067.png 502w, https:\/\/www.snapsurveys.com\/support-snapxmp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/04\/image067-300x204.png 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 502px) 100vw, 502px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\" start=\"4\">\n<li>Edit the questionnaire seeding and click <strong>Save<\/strong> to save the changes.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Adding a subject<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\" type=\"1\">\n<li>In the <strong>Participants list<\/strong>, expand the participant to view the details.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click on the arrows to move to the subject you want to edit.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click <strong>Add subject<\/strong> and the <strong>Add Subject<\/strong> dialog is displayed.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"503\" height=\"349\" src=\"https:\/\/www.snapsurveys.com\/support-snapxmp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/04\/image069.png\" alt=\"Add a new subject for a participant\" class=\"wp-image-4795\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.snapsurveys.com\/support-snapxmp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/04\/image069.png 503w, https:\/\/www.snapsurveys.com\/support-snapxmp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/04\/image069-300x208.png 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 503px) 100vw, 503px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\" start=\"4\">\n<li>Add a <strong>Subject<\/strong> and edit the questionnaire seeding then click <strong>Save<\/strong> to save the changes.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Resetting a subject<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\" type=\"1\">\n<li>&nbsp;In the <strong>Participants list<\/strong>, expand the participant to view the details.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click on the arrows to move to the subject you want to edit.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click <strong>Reset<\/strong> and the <strong>Reset Subject<\/strong> dialog is displayed.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Select <strong>Completion Status<\/strong> to reset the selected subject.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click <strong>Reset subject<\/strong>; the completion status is reset for the selected subject.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Deleting a subject<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\" type=\"1\">\n<li>In the <strong>Participants list<\/strong>, expand the participant to view the details.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click on the arrows to move to the subject you want to edit.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click <strong>Delete (subject name)<\/strong> and the <strong>Delete Subject<\/strong> dialog is displayed.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Select the checkbox to confirm that you want to delete the selected subject.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click <strong>Delete<\/strong> to delete the selected subject.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Previewing the questionnaire for the selected subject<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\" type=\"1\">\n<li>In the <strong>Participants list<\/strong>, expand the participant to view the details.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click on the arrows to move to the subject you want to edit.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>In the <strong>Questionnaire seeding<\/strong> section, click <strong>Preview Questionnaire. <\/strong>This opens the questionnaire in your web browser with the seeded data for the selected subject.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Previewing the questionnaire for all subjects<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The preview for all subjects is the same as previewing a standard questionnaire.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\" type=\"1\">\n<li>In the Collect tab, select Settings. The Overview is shown by default.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>In the Web Interviews section, click Launch Preview. The Participants <strong>Overview<\/strong> is selected by default.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click on the <strong>Participant list<\/strong> menu item to view the participants.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click on <strong>Upload Participants<\/strong> to open the <strong>Upload Participants Wizard<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Select <strong>Replace all participants<\/strong> and click <strong>Next<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click <strong>Select file<\/strong> to upload your new participants and click <strong>Next<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>In the <strong>Survey options<\/strong> page, select or clear the <strong>Group Questionnaire<\/strong> checkbox, as required, to switch between a standard and group questionnaire.
