{"id":4034,"date":"2021-02-23T13:15:34","date_gmt":"2021-02-23T13:15:34","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.snapsurveys.com\/support-snapxmp\/?post_type=epkb_post_type_1&#038;p=4034"},"modified":"2023-09-28T13:51:42","modified_gmt":"2023-09-28T12:51:42","slug":"auditing-shared-surveys","status":"publish","type":"epkb_post_type_1","link":"https:\/\/www.snapsurveys.com\/support-snapxmp\/snapxmp\/auditing-shared-surveys\/","title":{"rendered":"Auditing shared surveys"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>   Collaboration between team members is possible using\u00a0<strong>Shares<\/strong>\u00a0in\u00a0<strong>Snap XMP Online<\/strong>, letting a supervisor or researcher share a survey with team members who have different roles such as\u00a0<strong>Analyst<\/strong>\u00a0or\u00a0<strong>Interviewer<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>   You can share work with other people who have a\u00a0<strong>Snap XMP Online<\/strong>\u00a0account.\u00a0 <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Auditing changes made by shared users<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>   Shared users of a survey who are added with the Researcher permission have access to make changes to the shared survey, such as, editing the questionnaire in the Snap XMP Online Designer, publishing the questionnaire and starting interviewing.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\n  Auditing information about the activity on the survey is available in the survey\u2019s <strong>Audit log <\/strong>and <strong>Version history<\/strong>.  These are available by selecting the required survey in Your Work then clicking on the <strong>Audit log<\/strong> or <strong>Version history<\/strong> tab.\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\n  The survey\u2019s <strong>Audit log<\/strong> shows the changes made to the survey including the timestamp, the name of the user making the change and the type of activity. \n<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"602\" height=\"226\" src=\"https:\/\/www.snapsurveys.com\/support-snapxmp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/02\/AuditLog.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-8673\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.snapsurveys.com\/support-snapxmp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/02\/AuditLog.png 602w, https:\/\/www.snapsurveys.com\/support-snapxmp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/02\/AuditLog-300x113.png 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 602px) 100vw, 602px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>\n  The survey\u2019s <strong>Version history<\/strong> shows an entry for each version of the questionnaire created. These are available by selecting the required survey or folder or Your Work then clicking on the <strong>Shares<\/strong> tab.\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\n  When you create a shared user there is an option to give this user permission to manage the shared users of the survey. Shared users who have this permission can add, edit or remove shared users of the survey. You can keep track of the shared users who have access to the survey or folder in the <strong>Shares<\/strong> tab, where you can see both who created and who last modified the shared user as well as when these changes happened.\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\n  In the example, the owner of the survey is chris@example.org. The owner has created a shared user, sam@example.org, who is a Researcher and can share the survey.
