They can be created, edited and saved in both <strong>Snap XMP Online<\/strong> and <strong>Snap XMP Desktop<\/strong>. An online survey is saved in a database that is accessed by both applications. Online surveys can be updated by different users of <strong>Snap XMP Desktop<\/strong> and <strong>Snap XMP Online<\/strong> and are synchronized to keep them in step.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What is synchronized?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>\n  When changes are made to a survey, the data that is synchronized includes the\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>     Questionnaire when it is created in Snap XMP Online   <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\n    Publishing details\n  <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\n    Interviewing details\n  <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\n    Response data\n  <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">When is it synchronized?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>   Synchronizing the surveys takes place in <strong>Snap XMP Online<\/strong> when you <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li> Load or reload your online survey, folder or Your work   <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Save<\/strong> an online survey\u2019s questionnaire   <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>   Synchronizing the surveys takes place in <strong>Snap XMP Desktop<\/strong> when you <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Open the online surveys in the Survey Overview window.   <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Upload<\/strong> an online survey   <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Download<\/strong> an online survey   <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click the <strong>Synchronize<\/strong> button   <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Save<\/strong> an online survey\u2019s questionnaire   <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Upload a Survey from Snap XMP Desktop<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>   When you have made changes to a survey you can upload the survey to make sure it is available in <strong>Snap XMP Online<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>\n  In the <strong>Survey Overview<\/strong> window select \n  <img decoding=\"async\" width=\"25\" height=\"25\" Desktop<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>   Before you start making changes to a survey in Snap XMP Desktop you can make sure you have the latest version of the survey by downloading it. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>\n  In the <strong>Survey Overview<\/strong> window select \n  <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"25\" height=\"25\" src=\"https:\/\/www.snapsurveys.com\/support-snapxmp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/02\/onlinesurveysicon-png-2.png\" class=\"wp-image-3940\" alt=\"OnlineSurveysIcon.png\">\n   to view the online surveys.\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\n  Before you download you can check the status of your surveys by clicking the \n  <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"26\" height=\"26\" This button synchronizes the online surveys.\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"508\" height=\"32\" src=\"https:\/\/www.snapsurveys.com\/support-snapxmp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/02\/snaptoolbar-png.png\" alt=\"Synchronize the survey with Snap Online\" class=\"wp-image-3946\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.snapsurveys.com\/support-snapxmp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/02\/snaptoolbar-png.png 508w, https:\/\/www.snapsurveys.com\/support-snapxmp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/02\/snaptoolbar-png-300x19.png 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 508px) 100vw, 508px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>\n  The <strong>Synchronize<\/strong> button icon alters when changes are detected.\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>\n    <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"37\" height=\"29\" src=\"https:\/\/www.snapsurveys.com\/support-snapxmp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/02\/15-synchronizebutton1-png.png\" class=\"wp-image-3947\" alt=\"15.SynchronizeButton1.PNG\">\n     is displayed when no changes are detected. \n  <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\n    <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"34\" height=\"28\" src=\"https:\/\/www.snapsurveys.com\/support-snapxmp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/02\/16-synchronizebutton2-png.png\" class=\"wp-image-3948\" alt=\"16.SynchronizeButton2.PNG\">\n     is displayed when changes are detected. \n  <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>   Click on the <strong>Synchronize<\/strong> button or use the <strong>File\/Synchronize<\/strong> menu option to synchronize your work. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A status bar is displayed while <strong>Snap XMP Desktop<\/strong> is synchronizing. The responses can come from online, mobile, kiosk and paper sources. As these responses arrive they are saved with the other cases.
