Folders help to organise surveys and other subfolders in Your work. <\/strong>They keep related surveys together in one place, which can help group surveys together for sharing with other users.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The folders are located in Your work<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the Your work<\/strong> section folders and surveys can be<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  • Added<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Renamed<\/li>\n\n\n\n

  • Moved<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

    Adding a folder<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

    A new folder is created in the Summary<\/strong> section of Your work<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    1. Navigate to the Summary<\/strong> section in Your work<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    2. Click the New folder<\/strong> button to create a new folder.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

      1. This shows the New folder<\/strong> dialog box where you can type the folder name.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      2. Click the Create folder<\/strong> button.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

        1. This adds the new folder to the folder hierarchy in the Your work<\/strong> side menu and displays the new folder\u2019s Summary<\/strong> section.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

          Renaming a folder<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

          You can rename a folder in the Your work<\/strong> summary section.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

          1. Navigate to the Your work<\/strong> side menu.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
          2. Select the folder that you would like to rename.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
          3. Click the \"Action menu where you can select the Rename <\/strong>item.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

            1. Enter the new name for the folder in the Edit Name<\/strong> dialog box.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
            2. Click the Rename button to save the folder with the new name.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

              Deleting a folder<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

              There are two ways to delete a folder.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

              Action Menu<\/h4>\n\n\n\n
                \n
              1. Navigate to the Your work<\/strong> side menu.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
              2. Select the folder that you would like to delete.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
              3. Select the \"Action menu where you can select the Delete folder <\/strong>item.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

                Your work Summary<\/h4>\n\n\n\n
                  \n
                1. Navigate to the folder in the Your work<\/strong> summary.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
                2. Click the bin icon<\/strong> for the folder you would like to delete.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

                  Both Methods<\/h4>\n\n\n\n
                    \n
                  1. Following the steps for either deletion method shows a Delete<\/strong> dialog. Click the Delete<\/strong> button to confirm that you want to continue deleting the folder.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

                    1. When the folder contains one or more surveys the confirmation request for the deletion shows warnings that these surveys and associated responses will also be deleted.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
                    2. NOTE: This action is permanent and you cannot undo the deletion.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

                      Moving a folder<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

                      You can move a folder so that it becomes a sub folder. You can also move a sub folder to a top level position.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

                      1. In the Your work<\/strong> side menu<\/strong> select the folder you would like to move.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
                      2. Use drag and drop to move the folder.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
                      3. There are three icons that show where the new location of the folder\n
                          \n
                        • \"No\u00a0means you cannot move the folder here<\/li>\n\n\n\n
                        • \"Plus means the folder will be moved to a sub folder location<\/li>\n\n\n\n
                        • \"Topmeans the folder will be moved to the top level<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n
                        • Drag and drop the folder at the desired location.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n
