Further information on how to set up the routing rules can be found at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.snapsurveys.com\/support-snapxmp\/snapxmp\/adding-routing\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Adding routing<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\n  By default, the <strong>Scanning Module<\/strong> follows the routing rules set up in the questionnaire. When a routing condition is met, any question that is skipped when the questionnaire is completed will also be skipped by the scanning module. As this is a paper questionnaire there may be some responses where the participant has answered questions that were not required. These questions will not be scanned. \n<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Scanning all questions<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>\n  Routing can be turned off prior to scanning the completed questionnaires. If routing is turned off the scanning process scans all questions on the questionnaire.\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>   On the main Snap XMP Desktop menu click <strong>Tailor<\/strong> | <strong>Data Entry<\/strong>. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\n  In the <strong>Data Entry Tailoring<\/strong> dialog, clear <strong>Follow question routing<\/strong>. This turns question routing off for the selected survey.\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\n  Click <strong>OK<\/strong> to save the settings.\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\n  To turn the question routing on again select <strong>Follow question routing<\/strong>.\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Routing is set up in a scanning questionnaire in the same way as other questionnaires.
