The <strong>Database Linkage Wizard<\/strong> is displayed. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>   Select the <strong>Online Invites\/Logins\/Seeding<\/strong> radio button as the <strong>Linkage Type<\/strong>. This is the default option. <\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"264\" height=\"217\" src=\"https:\/\/www.snapsurveys.com\/support-snapxmp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/12\/2-linkagetype-png.png\" alt=\"Create a database link for uploading participants\" class=\"wp-image-3577\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\" start=\"5\">\n<li>\n  Click <strong>Next<\/strong> to move to the <strong>Select Database<\/strong> page.\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\n  Here you can select the link to your participants\u2019 data. This will depend on the format in which your data is stored.\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>\n    Click <strong>Select Database File<\/strong> and browse to the Excel or MS Access file containing the participants\u2019 data. This needs to include a unique id, such as a username or login id.\n  <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>\n  OR\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>\n    Click <strong>Build Data Link <\/strong>to build a link to an Oracle or SQL Database with the same information.\n  <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"562\" height=\"295\" src=\"https:\/\/www.snapsurveys.com\/support-snapxmp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/12\/selectdatabase-png.png\" alt=\"Select the database file or build a database link\" class=\"wp-image-3578\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.snapsurveys.com\/support-snapxmp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/12\/selectdatabase-png.png 562w, https:\/\/www.snapsurveys.com\/support-snapxmp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/12\/selectdatabase-png-300x157.png 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 562px) 100vw, 562px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\" start=\"7\">\n<li>\n  The <strong>Select the Table to<\/strong> <strong>use<\/strong> drop-down automatically displays a table name. If this is not the table you require, select a different table from the list. If you wish to filter the respondents so that this survey is only available to some members of the database, set an appropriate filter in the <strong>Where condition <\/strong>box. Click <strong>Next<\/strong>. \n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\n  On the next page you need to choose whether you will send email invitations to ask participants to complete your survey and whether participants will log in. Here you can design your email invitation and reminder.\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Set the email address field to be the appropriate database field in the drop-down list.   <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>     You will need to insert the <strong>Survey Location<\/strong> into the main body of the email.
