You can add masks in the questionnaire design window. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Masks are used for: <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>\n    unprompted\/prompted questions\n  <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\n    asking follow-on questions about items mentioned in a list\n  <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\n    forcing a code within a list through the questionnaire whether or not it has been selected by the participant\n  <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\n    removing codes from subsequent ranking questions after they are selected by the participant\n  <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Set up the mask<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>\n  Set up two identical questions where Q2 is a follow-on question to Q1.\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"401\" height=\"371\" src=\"https:\/\/www.snapsurveys.com\/support-snapxmp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/11\/maskquestions-png.png\" alt=\"Create questions to use a mask\" class=\"wp-image-3533\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.snapsurveys.com\/support-snapxmp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/11\/maskquestions-png.png 401w, https:\/\/www.snapsurveys.com\/support-snapxmp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/11\/maskquestions-png-300x278.png 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 401px) 100vw, 401px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\" start=\"2\">\n<li>\n  Select Q2 and click Variable Properties then enter Q1 in the Mask property.
