Collecting online survey responses<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

When a survey participant completes the questionnaire their response is automatically saved. The responses are updated in Snap XMP Desktop at regular intervals. You can also manually load the latest responses by clicking the Synchronize Responses<\/strong> button on the Snap XMP Desktop toolbar. \n You can view the survey responses in the Questionnaire window. \n<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Click Questionnaire<\/strong> \"QuestionnaireIcon.png\" on the Snap XMP Desktop toolbar to open the Questionnaire window. <\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Click Data View Mode <\/strong> \"DataModeIcon.png\" to show the questionnaire containing the response data. <\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. In the scrollbar, scroll or click the arrow buttons to view the survey responses. <\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    Enter responses from the paper questionnaire<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

    \n When you receive paper questionnaires from the participants you need to key the data into your survey.\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    1. \n Click Data Entry<\/strong> \n \"DataEntryIcon.png\"\n on the main toolbar to open the Data Entry <\/strong>window.\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    2. \n Click Questionnaire<\/strong> mode<\/strong> \n \"QuestModeIcon.png\"\n on the Data Entry <\/strong>window toolbar to switch to Questionnaire Mode<\/strong>. \n<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    3. \n Click New Case<\/strong> \n \"NewSurveyIcon.png\"\n to create a new case. The text showing the case count changes to New case 1 of 1<\/strong> or increase the number of cases by 1 if there are existing cases.\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

      1. \n Select or enter the answer for the first question based on the answer given in the paper response.\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      2. Press Enter<\/strong> to move to the next question. Depending on the way Snap XMP Desktop has been set up, a warning message may appear if you press Enter without entering a reply. Click Yes <\/strong>to continue. <\/li>\n\n\n\n
      3. \n In the grid question, you can also use the keyboard. Press 1<\/strong> to select the first code when the question is selected. Press Enter<\/strong> to move to the next part of the grid question and enter another response.\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      4. \n Continue through each question and when you have completed the questionnaire you are given the options:\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

        1. \n Select Continue<\/strong> to save the data and move on to the next case.\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n
