The <strong>U-Test<\/strong> result displays 6 characters in each age group column representing the results of comparing a column with those of each other column. It indicates whether there is a significant difference or whether it is just a chance result.\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-table\"><table><tbody><tr><td><p><strong>Character<\/strong>\n<\/p><\/td><td><p><strong>Meaning<\/strong>\n<\/p><\/td><\/tr><tr><td><p>   &nbsp;    &#8211; <\/p><\/td><td><p>\n  No significant difference; a chance result.\n<\/p><\/td><\/tr><tr><td><p>\n  lower case character\n<\/p><\/td><td><p>\n  The difference is significant at the lower level of confidence.\n<\/p><\/td><\/tr><tr><td><p>\n  upper case character\n<\/p><\/td><td><p>\n  The difference is significant at the higher level of confidence.\n<\/p><\/td><\/tr><\/tbody><\/table><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>\n  This implies that there is a significant difference between those under 18, and those between 45 and 54.
