The dialog below shows the automatically created analysis variables starting AV.Q9. The <strong>AV <\/strong>part of the name tells you it is an auto category variable. The next part is the name of the variable that it comes from, and the last part makes the variable unique.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"528\" height=\"197\" src=\"https:\/\/www.snapsurveys.com\/support-snapxmp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/10\/wordcloud6-png.png\" alt=\"Analysis variables list\" class=\"wp-image-2681\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\" start=\"2\"><li>\n  Select the variable you wish to edit and click \n  <img decoding=\"async\" width=\"25\" height=\"26\" class=\"wp-image-2682\" alt=\"CloneSurveyIcon.png\" src=\"https:\/\/www.snapsurveys.com\/support-snapxmp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/10\/clonesurveyicon-png-1.png\">\n   on the toolbar to make a copy of it. \n<\/li><li>\n  Double-click the new variable. The <strong>Auto Category Variable Details<\/strong> window opens. By default the codes are displayed in order. \n<\/li><li>\n  Change the name as required.\n<\/li><li>\n  Select \n  <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"25\" height=\"26\" class=\"wp-image-2683\" alt=\"ChooseCodesIcon.PNG\" src=\"https:\/\/www.snapsurveys.com\/support-snapxmp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/10\/choosecodesicon-png.png\">\n   <strong>Choose codes<\/strong> to display all possible codes. Categories that are not displayed in the word cloud appear with the category number in brackets. Items that are not included are sent to the bottom of the list.\n<\/li><li>\n  You can sort the list by <strong>Label <\/strong>or number of items.
