<\/a>Editing questions<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

When you create your own SurveyPaks<\/strong> you can change the questions in them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Open the SurveyPak<\/strong> you wish to change.<\/li>
  2. Click \"ToggleEditModeIcon.png\" to enter Edit mode.<\/li>
  3. Select the question you wish to change.<\/li>
  4. Right-click the question within the SurveyPak<\/strong> and select Properties<\/strong>. The Variable Properties dialog for that SurveyPak<\/strong> variable appears:<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    You can change any of the details: the texts, the response type, the style and the number of variables.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    <\/a>Embedding a survey in a SurveyPak<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

    You can embed existing surveys in a SurveyPak. This allows you to distribute a SurveyPak with the master copy of a survey. Users can then repeat it or adapt it to their own requirements.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    1. Open a reference window containing the SurveyPak that you wish to add the survey to.<\/li>
    2. Click \"ToggleEditModeIcon.png\" to edit the SurveyPak.<\/li>
    3. Select the Surveys <\/strong>entry and click \"NewSurveyIcon.png\" (or right-click and select Import survey…<\/strong>).<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n

      1. You can then browse for the survey to embed. Select the survey and click Open.<\/strong><\/li>
      2. The Embedded file properties<\/strong> dialog opens.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n

        1. Edit the Name and the Details fields and click OK<\/strong>. The information you type for the name appears in the SurveyPak tree view. The details appear in the SurveyPak preview pane.<\/li>
        2. Click OK<\/strong>. The Maintain Embedded File<\/strong> dialog appears. This ensures that the survey is updated to your current Snap release and that all personal data is removed from the survey before it is embedded. Leave all boxes checked and click OK<\/strong>.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n

          1. If any changes were made (eg, email addresses removed or the survey updated) you will get a short report.<\/li>
          2. Click OK<\/strong>. The survey will be embedded in the SurveyPak.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n
