A Slider Control lets the respondent select a response by dragging the slider to the position on the bar that represents their response. This can be choosing from a range of quantity values, such as a score from 0 to 10, or from a number of choices, such as Very good to Very poor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Displaying a question as a Slider Control<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

You must first create a single-response question, such as Single Choice<\/a>, Grid <\/a>or Semantic Scale<\/a>, or an open-ended quantity question<\/a>, which you can display as a slider control.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Select the question in the Questionnaire window.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Select Show <\/strong>in the topics drop-down list.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    1. Select As Slider Control in the next drop-down. <\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

      1. Select the\u00a0Show\u00a0<\/strong>checkbox to change the question to a Slider Control.\u00a0Clear the Show <\/strong>checkbox to return to the original question style. The question changes to a grey box for the question. If a Slider Control has been previously defined for this question, that Slider Control is shown.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      2. Double-click the\u00a0Slider Control<\/strong>\u00a0area to open the\u00a0Slider Control wizard<\/a>.\u00a0This shows the available Slider Control templates.\u00a0Click the Advanced <\/strong>button for further options in the Slider Control wizard.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n
