This is currently only available to beta-testers.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Charts show the response data in a visual format, helping individuals understand the responses to the questions. The chart layouts available for dashboards include line charts, bar charts, pie charts, doughnut charts and gauges.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Insert a chart<\/h2>\n\n\n\n
    \n
  1. Open the Dashboard in the Edit <\/strong>option.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

      \n
    1. In the Charts<\/strong> menu, select the chart you want and drag to the dashboard editor. This opens the chart settings with the chart type selected. <\/li>\n\n\n\n
    2. In Title<\/strong>, enter the title description for the chart.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    3. The Type<\/strong> defaults to the chart type you selected in the menu, but you can change the chart type to any of the available charts or tables.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

      Chart settings<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

      There are three tabs: Definition, Calculate and Include. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

      • The Definition tab defines which data is used in the chart.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • The Calculate tab gives the option to select counts or percent.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • The Include tab gives the option to include responses with errors, not asked or no reply.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

        Edit the chart settings<\/h2>\n\n\n\n
          \n
        1. In the Definition <\/strong>tab, choose the Type<\/strong> option.\n
            \n
          • 2-D table includes both Rows (Analysis) and Columns (Break)<\/li>\n\n\n\n
          • 1-D table includes Rows (Analysis)<\/li>\n\n\n\n
          • Grid table<\/li>\n\n\n\n
          • Holecount table<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n
          • In Rows<\/strong> (Analysis), click the Select<\/strong> button and choose a variable from the list, then click OK.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
          • In Columns<\/strong> (Break), click the Select<\/strong> button and choose a variable from the list, then click OK.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
          • In Filter<\/strong>, enter the filter criteria, e.g. Q1=2<\/li>\n\n\n\n
          • Select Transpose<\/strong>, if you want to transpose the chart.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
          • In the Calculate <\/strong>tab, choose the Cells <\/strong>option.\n

            • Counts<\/li>\n\n\n\n
            • Row Percents<\/li>\n\n\n\n
            • Column Percents<\/li>\n\n\n\n
            • Total Percents<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n
            • In the Include <\/strong>tab:\n

              • select Errors <\/strong>if you want to include data with errors<\/li>\n\n\n\n
              • select Not Asked<\/strong> if you want to include data that was not asked<\/li>\n\n\n\n
              • select No Reply<\/strong> if you want to include data that had no reply<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n
              • Click OK<\/strong> to save all the changes. Click Apply <\/strong>to apply the changes. Click Restore <\/strong>to return to the original values, if the chart was edited. Click Cancel <\/strong>to abandon the changes.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

                Resize the chart<\/h2>\n\n\n\n
