In Snap XMP Desktop, you can change the colour and border appearance of the buttons.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Button options<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

  1. In Snap XMP Desktop, open the survey in the Survey Overview. This opens the questionnaire in the Questionnaire window.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Select the buttons question that you want to change.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. Select Show <\/strong>from the toolbar topic menu.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  4. Select As Buttons<\/strong> from the next drop-down.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    1. Click on the\u00a0Options<\/strong>\u00a0button. This opens the\u00a0Code labels as buttons<\/strong>\u00a0dialog where you can customise the appearance of the buttons.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

      Choose the colours<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

      You can change the text and background colours displayed for both the unselected and selected labels.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      1. Click the colour drop down to select the text or background colour.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      2. Select the colour or click More Colours<\/strong> to create custom colours.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      3. Click OK <\/strong>to save the changes.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

        Check that the colours are correct by previewing the questionnaire.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

        Choose the border<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

        You can choose whether to show a border around the active code label, and set the properties of the border style.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

        1. Select the Use border<\/strong> check box. This enables the border options.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        2. There are 4 border style options\n
            \n
          • Rounded border<\/strong> gives a round shape at the each end of the border.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
          • Add margins<\/strong> adds space around the code label text.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
          • Text only<\/strong> changes the border width to the width of each code label text.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
          • Reduce width<\/strong> decreases the code label size to the largest text width of the code labels.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n
          • Choose the border colour that is shown when labels are selected or unselected.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
          • Click OK <\/strong>to save the changes.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n
