When you are creating a list of items it is likely the list will not be exhaustive. You can choose to add an answer where the respondent can add something that is not on the list. This uses the Show other response<\/strong> option, and is available in Single Choice, Multiple Choice and Drop Down questions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Add an other response<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

  1. Click More <\/strong>on the Question toolbar<\/strong> to open the menu.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    1. Click Show other response<\/strong>. This adds an Open ended<\/strong> question after the last choice. <\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

      1. Select the pattern to validate the response. The default is set to literal, which allows free format text answers.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      2. In Input width<\/strong>, set the width of the response box as a percentage of the page width.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      3. In Input rows<\/strong>, set the number of rows in the response box. <\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n
