You can select multiple areas using\u00a0<strong>Ctrl<\/strong> +\u00a0click.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Either right-click and select\u00a0<strong>Assign to Code|<\/strong><em>variable code<\/em> or select\u00a0<strong>Shape | Assign to Code |<\/strong><em> variable code<\/em>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"416\" height=\"182\" src=\"https:\/\/www.snapsurveys.com\/support-snapxmp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/AssignCode.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-11706\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.snapsurveys.com\/support-snapxmp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/AssignCode.png 416w, https:\/\/www.snapsurveys.com\/support-snapxmp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/AssignCode-300x131.png 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 416px) 100vw, 416px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\" start=\"4\">\n<li>When you have associated an area with a code, the code appears below the image when the area is selected.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>To make the area inactive, click <strong>unassign <\/strong>to remove the assigned code from the selected shape.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You can attach the same image codes to multiple areas.
