Before you can create or view the online surveys in Snap XMP Desktop<\/strong> you will need to set up a link with a Snap XMP Online<\/strong> user account. You will need to enter your Snap XMP Online<\/strong> account details to link the surveys created in this Snap XMP Online<\/strong> account to Snap XMP Desktop<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

There are two ways to log in to Snap Online from the Snap XMP Desktop app. This depends on the software version and Snap Online service you are using.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Log in to Snap Online using the browser<\/h2>\n\n\n\n
    \n
  1. Close any open surveys in Snap XMP Desktop<\/strong> using File\/Close Survey<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Click the Tailor<\/strong> menu and click Online Account <\/strong>to open the Log in to Snap XMP Online<\/strong> dialog.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. Select Snap Online<\/strong> if your account is run by Snap Surveys. <\/strong>Select the Snap XMP Online<\/strong> server to log in.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    1. Select Keep me logged in<\/strong> if you would like the password to be remembered every time you use Snap XMP Desktop<\/strong>. Sometimes you will need to enter the password for security reasons.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    2. Click Open Browser<\/strong> to sign in to the website. This opens a browser with the Log in to Snap XMP Online <\/strong>dialog.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

      1. Enter your email address and click Next<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

          \n
        1. Enter your password then click Log in<\/strong>. This will log your account into Snap XMP Online<\/strong>. You can close the browser. <\/li>\n\n\n\n
        2. In Snap Desktop, click Continue <\/strong>in the Log in to Snap XMP Online<\/strong> dialog.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

          If you are working without an internet connection, click Cancel in the Log in to Snap XMP Online<\/strong> dialog. This loads surveys available offline.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

          Log in to Snap Online with Email and Password<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

          1. Close any open surveys in Snap XMP Desktop<\/strong> using File\/Close Survey<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
          2. Click the Tailor<\/strong> menu and click Online Account <\/strong>to open the Log in to Snap XMP Online<\/strong> dialog.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

            1. Select Snap Online<\/strong> if your account is run by Snap Surveys. <\/strong>Select the Snap XMP Online<\/strong> server to log in. Alternatively, select Own Server<\/strong> if your organisation is running Snap XMP Online<\/strong> on their server.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
            2. Select the server URL to log in.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
            3. In the User Details<\/strong> section enter the Email Address<\/strong> and Password <\/strong>to connect <\/strong>to the server.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
            4. Select Keep me logged in<\/strong> if you would like the password to be remembered every time you use Snap XMP Desktop<\/strong>. Sometimes you will need to enter the password for security reasons.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
